The matter of Resurrection is not the matter of fact. This matter is about our confession of the faith in our life.



예수 그리스도의 부활은 유대적 신앙의 계승이며


The faith in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the succession of Jewish faith



그래서 구약 말기 수많은 유대의 의인들이 헛되이 죽은 것이 아닌 것처럼

which enabled Jews to think that the death of God’s righteous people was not wothless, fighting for their independence in the closing years of Old Testament times.



그들과 같이 영원히 효력 있는, 삶을 위한 희생이라는 신앙고백이다.

So it is the confession that the crucifixion of Jesus was not worthlessly but both effectively and eternally taken for his people and again for us.



부활신앙은 하나님의 의를 따르는 이들의 희생과 죽음을 슬퍼하지 않고 소망 속에서 기뻐하는 것이다.

The faith in the Resurrection celebrates our life in which we pay cost to follow God’s righteousness.



그러므로 오늘날 우리가 부활신앙을 가진다고 할 때에 그것은 예수님께서 어떤 몸으로 살아나셨는가를 세상에 증명하는 일이 아니라

Therefore, having faith in resurrected Jesus is not about witnessing the feature of Jesus’ Resurrection.



예수와 같이 하나님의 뜻을 따르는 의로운 고난을 두려워하지 않고 매일 용감하게 살아가는 일이다.

Rather than that, this is the meaning of the Resurrection for every Christian: we should live every moment without fear of paying our cost for obeying God’s will as Jesus.
